The Marketing Manager, leads strategy and messaging, for Infusion Disposables and Dedicated Disposables across ANZ to ensure sustained profitable growth.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Assist in the achievement of the annual BD revenue and gross profit targets for ANZ; assist in achievement of OIBT business commitments by controlling expenses to meet budget guidelines, in particular, deliver marketing activities within agreed budget.

  • Provide input into the development and execution of the overall business objectives and strategies.

  • Participate in the development of the annual strategic review, providing input into the budget discussions.

  • Adoption of the BD ANZ Way of Marketing: Develop and deliver effective business and segment specific strategies for the attainment of the annual budgetary goals. Such strategies will address issues of resource, strategic implementation and business development opportunities.

  • Conduct market research to determine market requirements for existing and future products; support product demonstrations/trials/evaluations; nurture KOLs to develop local publications that support the selling effort.

  • Manage and coordinate the Product Manager and their activities in line with business imperatives.

  • Work alongside the Product Manager, develop pricing strategies to guide the selling effort and generate profitable business.

  • Develop tools to support the selling process – financial spreadsheets; quotation and proposal templates; marketing collateral etc.

  • Maintain a high level of market knowledge and remain up-to-date with changes in the business environment and relevant technologies that may be on the rise.

  • Ensure such information is appropriately reported. Work alongside BUM, SSM & Product Manager to drive the tender process, to ensure the tender response positions BD to win.

  • Oversee S&OP owned by product manager for portfolio. Spend at least 20% of time in the field with sales associates understanding how marketing imperatives are playing out in the field.

  • As appropriate engagement with key market stakeholders, such as associations, Government and Government groups/offices, industry bodies, key accounts etc.

  • Able to develop and execute marketing initiatives and launch plans including pricing, and messaging.

  • Ensure timely communication to appropriate marketing and sales personnel relating to promotional materials and development of effective sales aids and clinical education support materials.

  • Plays critical role in key projects/ initiatives, often leading project/ initiative teams, including strategic marketing representative of product development core team

SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE & EXPERIENCE:

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Communications or a related tertiary field.

  • Minimum 2-3 years’ experience in core marketing role

  • Sales experience desirable.

  • Effective analytical and problem solving skills along with planning and time management are required.

  • Excellent written and oral communication skills, effective team leadership and group presentation skills. white boarding proficiency

  • Strong PC skills particularly Excel /PowerPoint
