BD (Becton, Dickinson and Company) Digital Marketing Manager in Mississauga, Ontario
Job Description Summary
In alignment with BD Diabetes Care Canada commercial strategies, the Digital Experience Manager will shape the Strategic Digital recommendations and lead the design, development and execution of patient and HCP user experience. The successful candidate will be responsible to enable value through virtual interactions that will result in optimized customer reach generating new leads, optimized frequency with current customers delivering increased relevance of our brand, products and services and integrating the user experience consistently throughout all digital assets.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
Lead the development and ongoing execution of the National digital marketing strategy for the Canadian Diabetes Care Business Unit
Deliver an integrated omni-channel patient experience consistently throughout all digital assets (social media, website, apps, e-mails, etc.) that will result in increased conversions
Develop and execute innovative digital HCP customer journeys that will effectively generate new leads and in turn accelerate adoption of BD pen needle offerings as well as virtual insulin injection technique training tools
Enable webinar delivery through SmartCampaigns using GlobalMeet, Marketo and SalesForce.com platforms
Initiate nurture drip campaigns for newly generated leads
Engage existing customers via virtual interactions as a means to elevate value
Define metrics of success and set up frequency of tracking with an agile mindset in order to inform campaign optimization as needed based on analytics
Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure alignment, drive visibility, and ensure campaigns are embedded through all (digital and traditional) vehicles of communication
Education & Experience
A minimum of a university degree is required preferably in Business, Life Sciences or related Health Sciences discipline; Postgraduate qualification in digital marketing preferred
A minimum of 3-5 years of professional business experience designing and deploying digital experience campaigns w/ proven results is required, preferably in the pharmaceutical and/or medical technology field
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
Marketo experience (designing and executing SmartCampaigns) or other Marketing automation platform experience such as Hubspot or Salesforce Marketing cloud
SalesForce.com experience (how leads flow in SFDC, demand generation perspective from Marketo to SFDC)
HTML & CSS knowledge
Strong experience and expertise in fundamental functional disciplines including marketing strategy, marketing processes and tools, market research and analytics.
Influence/Relationship Building: Connects well through relationships across all levels and functions of the organization and can effectively manage conflict.
Creativity: Comes up with a number of new and unique ideas; easily makes connections among previously unrelated notions; tends to be seen as original and value-added in brainstorming settings.
Project Management: Develop and execute against timelines for tactical projects on time and within budget, raising potential issues accordingly.
Performance Tracking: understands ratios by channels and creation of dashboards to track metrics
Willing and able to travel approximately 20% of the time
Bilingual: French/English an asset
