Summary of Position with General Responsibilities:
Reporting to the HR Director, you will provide advice and services to managers on strategic & tactical HR initiatives in the areas of employee relations, recruitment, training, talent management, performance, development and compensation & benefits. This role is critical in executing our people initiatives, providing great internal customer support, and driving HR functional excellence and process improvement.

Monitor and evaluate employee satisfaction and attrition levels and recommend strategies and employee focused programs and activities aimed to improve employee engagement and retention.
Responsible for the Health & Safety committee and all compliance related activities and training including AODA, Bill 168, EHS, OH&S, etc.
Ensure consistent and integrated implementation of policies, programs and human resources management practices (compensation, recruitment, training, talent management).
Research and advise on HR best practices and make recommendations to influence strategies and change.
Participate in special projects as requested particularly in change management initiatives.
Subject matter expert on all HR Processes and their downstream system impact; including but not limited to Onboarding, Job Changes, Salary Changes, Data Modifications, etc.
Develop strong working relationship with various company stakeholders; working closely with colleagues within the Service Centre to ensure timely and accurate transactions within the Workday and Payroll system are completed.
Administrator for Attendance Management System; eTime.
Administrator for Rewards and Recognition Database; You Earned It (YEI)
Provide ongoing support to Director HR and HRBP’s on various HR initiatives within their respective client groups; including but not limited to Talent Initiatives, Team Effectiveness, etc.
Engagement and participation on Onboarding initiatives including but not limited to new hire orientations
Ensure HR Metrics dashboard is maintained and continuously seek to improve Metrics and reports
Ensure high-level of data integrity by completing regular audits and ensure appropriate corrections are made
Management of group HR Inbox; responding to associate requests and triaging to the appropriate stakeholders; as well as editing and sending Organizational Announcements.
Maintain and update internal HR Portal (policies, procedures, forms) and maintenance of HR Intranet page (articles, announcements, etc.)
Work closely with Payroll to ensure both the HR and Payroll system reconciled on a regular basis.
Coordination and collaboration with Executive Assistant in the Annual Company Service Awards Program.
Education and/or Experience:
University Degree (minimum) in Business, HR Management
3-5 years of related experience working in Human Resources
Fluency in French required (oral and written)
CHRP or CHRL Designation
Effectively demonstrates critical thinking while constructively challenging status quo by adopting the role of a change champion.
Demonstrated knowledge of applicable Human Resources/Employment laws and practices.
Excellent analytical, interpersonal,and detail orientation skills required.
Possess a strong HRIS system background Workday experience preferred.
Excellent written and oral communication and interpersonal skills required.
Ability to handle multiple projects and competing priorities.
Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Outlook)
