The Marketing Director will oversee the Marketing & Clinical responsibilities for the BD Interventional Team. Lead Interventional Marketing team in developing strategies, platforms, and programs. Responsible for overall profit and loss of all Platforms; Lead efforts of team in Strategic Marketing, Clinical programs, Financial, and Operational programs, Business Case development, Market Research , Competitive knowledge and KOL and Advocacy development.
Manages, directs and implements all aspects of a marketing plan for an entire geographic business. Will manage and mentor Marketing Managers, Product Manager, Marketing Coordinator & Clinical Specialists to develop and execute strategic and tactical plans. Will be accountable for assessing new business opportunities with source divisions; integration of all acquisitions; and developing accurate forecasts for all portfolios.
Provide strategic direction, prioritize resources and to ensure successful launches and commercialization efforts
Achieve and exceed annual revenue and profit objectives in accordance with the annual business plan. Collaboration with WWBU's & Regional Sales teams to execute national objectives and strategies.
Develop deep insights through research and analytics to inform marketing and product development, decision-making, and marketing programs
Measure/monitor progress to revenue and income targets; communicate progress to designated parties.
Optimize financial performance and leverage resources required for marketing success and related business performance
Develop and build high performing marketing team
Interface with Sales, Strategic Customer Group, Strategic Marketing Team, Clinical Team, and Marketing to align selling, marketing, and Clinical efforts to opportunities and to drive conversion of practice where practical.
Development and implementation of Regional strategy to identify and manage critical issues for customers and create market shaping and development opportunities for solutions
Facilitate annual BD ASR Planning Process.
Work with Global Business Units to drive Canadian and BDI initiatives.
Develop national pricing strategies and recommend necessary modifications to pricing policies as required.
Plan, organize and develop marketing initiatives development in conjunction with Sales.
POSITION REQUIREMENTS
Education:
University Bachelor’s Degree- Business or Science. MBA / Masters preferred
Experience:
Minimum (5) years healthcare marketing/sales management and Clinical experience
Exceptional people management and development skills.
Interventional (OR, IR) experience preferred.
