Job Description Summary
Develop & execute overall marketing strategy for MDS Oncology business in line with divisional sales target and profit margin. Focus of the role will be towards market shaping and market development activity for the product portfolio, creating communication strategy in collaboration with region/global team for products/sales team, designing promotional materials in line with communication strategy. Designing, driving, monitoring programs for market shaping Maintaining select KOL relationships in oncology/ critical care space. Analyzing divisional performance with region/product wise performance and taking necessary action plan
Planning, Analysis & Coordination
Coordinating with Business Head and Sales associates within India, APAC and Key MDS WW Contacts for market info / feedbacks and strategies.
Product rationalization (critical / low GP items)
Coordinate with Finance/ Compliance/ SC partners on planning of pricing strategy/marketing code of conduct/ forecasting
Coordinating with Region Marketing team/ Clinical team for information support on product strategy
Designing programs for market shaping
Coordination with Supply Chain
Forecast consolidation and moderation in accordance with the plan and product availability
Participate in S&OP process with specific focus towards liquidation of near expiry products
Working with Manager (Planning) to arrive at a regional inventory allocation plan.
Trainings & Local Product Management
New Products sales and training support /to new joinees
Technical brochures/ literature, catalogue development. by working with BD regulatory an identity manager
Key customer-account trainings / Development of a standardized ISP module on Phlebotomy & Vacutainer Brand products.
Provide technical support to the PAS team and the other sales associates.
Locally strategize on new product launch plans.
Handling customer queries / grievances and product performance related issues as per company guidelines
Follow up with manufacturing facilities for the PIR – feedback.
Technical / Clinical presentations for key accounts.
Design / Implement / Tracking and coordinating the marketing / clinical activities & marketing spend
Interact / coordinate activities with other business groups in BD India
Track market trends / update market knowledge
Identify new market opportunities and advise / launch new products
