We are looking for an experienced Account Manager, with a proven track record, to work within our MMS team in Denmark. This purpose of the role is to generate incremental revenues and profit through selling new cross business solutions that are focused on improving patient safety and productivity of a hospital and hospital pharmacy. The Account Manager will be responsible for selling a range of solutions and products within medication management, both within infusion treatments and medication dispensing, across the designated territory. This individual must have the ability to recognise and seize business opportunities and proactively look for opportunities through initiative and creativity.
Reporting to the Sales Manager Nordic, the successful candidate will be responsible for accounts in the whole country of Denmark and have the following key accountabilities:
Primary role responsibilities
This provides a general focus for the requirements of the role but is not exhaustive.
Work closely with Business Development Executive and other MMS and BD stakeholders with sales, marketing and solution designto identify business opportunities and associated stakeholders within the territory
Develop territory and account plans in line with the regional sales strategy
Execute on activities to achieve the annually agreed sales objectives and growth within the region
To drive growth through the uses of the BD Way of Selling by incorporating Customer Centricity and SalesForce.com into daily activities
Manage multi-account agreements with high level of complexity and strategic thinking
To successfully plan and convert MMS solution opportunities into revenues to further advance the business
Required competencies, Skills and Experience
Coming from a medical devices, hospital pharmacy, IT or technology industry, preferably with previous healthcare sales or marketing experience, you will have a strong knowledge of solution selling and have a hunger and drive to develop new business as well as the ability to maintain long term relationships with key accounts.
Strong business acumen.
Minimum of 5 years of experience with evidence of career progression in the relevant sales field, ideally with prior experience in key account management.
Track record in solution selling and cross functional selling.
Learns from past experiences, shares knowledge with others and applies it to new challenges and environment.
Fluency in English both written and spoken.
Experience in Medical device industry, IT and/or consultancy background.
Desired Competencies & skills
Agile and results driven with a strong focus on sales execution.
High affinity in the area of Healthcare IT and ICT are advantageous, ideally you already have experience and good knowledge in the area of Wireless Communication.
Proven experience in the distribution of complex solutions in the healthcare sector is desirable.
High level of building financial proposals
Forecasting and pipeline management and understanding of reporting analytics
Embody trust, integrity and ethics inside and outside the company.
Excellent presentation and communication skills.
Effective interaction with all levels of internal and external staff in problem solving
Performance orientated and able to work to delivery of agreed targets.
Relevant qualifications
Experience in working in a multinational or international environment
Business savvy with strong commercial mind-set
Strategic agility, with conceptual thinking and analytical skills
Travel requirements
70% travel will be required within the territory, and across the country
