BD (Becton, Dickinson and Company) Manager, Revenue Recognition and Technical Accounting in New Jersey
Job Description SummaryThe team is responsible for maintaining the financial books and records. Revenue is recognized and reported in line with the Company’s revenue recognition policy and GAAP. This role is the Technical expert for providing recommendations on Revenue Recognition to the team and other technical accounting matters. They will be a key member in the implementation of new Guidance and ongoing project research.
Duties & Responsibilities:
Responsible for advising on Technical Accounting Guidance for all MMS Businesses
Responsible for reviewing and determining revenue recognition treatment in compliance with technical guidance for current and new products
Work cross functionally to provide guidance to Marketing for projects on potential future Revenue Recognition treatment or impact
Reviews complex transactions and prepares reconciliations, adhering to compliance standards
Develop and create process workflow and streamline various accounting processes for tracking and reporting
Assist in testing and implementing any project related work.
Owner of SOX framework and team controls with respect to both Infusion and Dispensing

Be a team player
Degree in Accounting; advanced knowledge of Revenue Recognition Required
Technical Guidance knowledge / 606 knowledge
Minimum 4 years relevant work experience, Public Accounting a plus
Strong communication and analytical skills
Advanced Microsoft Excel skills
SAP, CRM, BW & Qlikview experience preferred
