Job Title: Non-Acute Regional Sales Director, MMS

Job Family Group (Function): Direct Sales

This role will be critical to the success of the new MMS Non-Acute organization. These leaders will need to be comfortable leading change, leverage situational leadership skills, communicate effectively and with clarity. This role will require travel across a broad geography while coaching and developing a team with a new and evolving solution offering.

What is expected of you and others at this level in Direct Sales Management for Functional success

  • Responsible for Regional sales for all non acute medication management solutions including dispensing, infusion, fluids and services

  • Provides leadership and guidance to sales executives and professional staff

  • Creates and executes comprehensive strategies to exceed Regional sales objectives

  • Creates and executes effective strategies to develop and maintain a strong sales pipeline

  • Has in-depth functional expertise and broad business knowledge, as well as deep territory knowledge and customer relationships

  • Develops value-added solutions that meet customer business needs and shares key learnings with others

  • Develops broad influence through a robust set of internal/external relationships across the organization; promotes win-win outcomes within, among and across teams, using the diverse perspectives of others to achieve results

  • Creates challenging roles and responsibilities to build organization capabilities and fill capability gaps

  • Creates and implements succession plans for managing talent within and from outside the organization

  • Makes decisions, often difficult and/or unpopular, that support the organization strategy; influences others to support the decisions

  • Role model for BD culture and values

  • Inspires others to exceed expectations and objectives on a daily basis with a Shadow of the Leader mentality focused on accountability, integrity and execution

  • Manages resources to ensure sales and financial objectives are met, leveraging knowledge of competitive advantage and profit drivers

  • Develops relationships with key internal/external customers to exceed sales objectives and to identify emerging needs and business challenges

  • Influences customer and/or organizational leadership through effective listening and communication to exceed objectives


  • Bachelor's degree required; graduate degree preferred

  • 6-10 years healthcare sales management experience;

  • Dispensing or Infusion sales background required; non acute experience strongly preferred

  • Ability to travel 75% of time (based on candidate’s location)

  • Excellent planning, forecasting, negotiation and presentation skills

  • Must possess and maintain a valid state-issued driver's license and meet BD's auto safety standards.
