The Team Lead, Sales Oncology will be responsible for the field sales success across Canada. In conjunction with our business planning process, the Team Lead will provide insight and own the execution of quarterly and annual strategies designed to meet our overall sales objectives. Other responsibilities will include the recruitment, development, and motivation of the Sales team.
Key responsibilities will include:
Direct and evaluate field sales activity on an ongoing basis to provide the most efficient and effective market coverage.
Utilize the tools and principals of the BD sales process to ensure proper account management of key initiatives.
Assist in the recruitment, development, and maintenance of an effective sales team
Work collaboratively with Strategic Corporate Group on key BDX opportunities
Work closely with Sales Leadership Team to find opportunities to drive growth faster and provide perspective & front-line feedback on existing messaging
Work closely with Marketing on implementing our strategic objectives around providing comprehensive solutions for our customers, and evaluating new market opportunities to ensure continued growth and profitability.
Conduct sales meetings with the team on a quarterly basis.
Responsible for managing the expense budget for the territory
Develop and maintain expert market knowledge in terms of quantitative and qualitative market data
Assist with the development of annual business plans and long-term strategic plans
Provide timely data, information and support to the sales team, enabling competitive advantages to be realized on a regional basis
Fluently bilingual in English and French is strongly preferred
Ability to train & mentor Territory Managers across a wide IR-based portfolio in real-life scenarios with physicians
Thorough understanding of Canadian KOL landscape with established relationships in IR & Radiology
Extensive communication skills working on a strong team environment.
Strong analytical and negotiating skills with the capability of communicating with all management levels.
Strong project management skills with the ability to judge and assess appropriate project priorities. Individual must exhibit good judgment capabilities and initiative and eye for business.
Regular Canadian travel expected
Education and experience required:
University Degree in business and/or sciences.
3-5 years of experience in Interventional Radiology, Radiology, or Breast Health, and people management within the health care industry.
