As Process Engineer, you will be responsible for the development, optimisation and specifications of manufacturing processes to meet the divisional growth and requirements in the Healthcare Industry. Develop and optimises process improvements on existing equipment to improve efficiencies and productivity, and to ensure that annual budget and objectives are achieved.
As Process Engineer , you will;
Plan, specify and implement improvements to existing processes to improve productivity and efficiency. Prepare implementation schedules and ensure programmes are successfully initiated and completed within planned time frames.
Develop new processing technologies to meet the potential manufacturing requirements for sales growth in the marketplace. Liaises with R&D and other BD Plants to ensure maximisation of all opportunities in process improvements.
Prepare Plant layout for existing processes or changes to processes as necessary due to changing manufacturing requirements.
Design and arrange manufacture of any tooling requirements for the process.
Prepare accurate schedules and cost estimates for all programmes associated with manufacturing improvements. Liaise with Facilities Engineering for service and utility requirements.
Communicate with other global BD Plants to exchange and share technical knowledge that is potentially advantageous to provide cost reductions and efficiency improvements.
Ensures that any statutory legislation/obligation is adhered to with regard to process changes including Quality Change Control procedures are met.
The successful candidate will have a relevant qualification in an engineering discipline. You will have engineering experience in a high-speed manufacturing environment with ‘Hands-on’ experience in fault rectification, design of modifications, process innovation and project management. You will be a problem solver with the ability to provide creative solutions to problems. You will have the ability to accept and promote change as well as lead personnel and control budgets. You will be IT literate and have excellent communication and leadership skills.
