BD (Becton, Dickinson and Company) Logistic Customs Supervisor in Reynosa, Mexico
Job Description Summary
Logistic Customs Supervisor will be responsible to oversee the Import/Export and Logistic activity of the BD Reynosa Plant.
The regular activities of the Logistic Customs Supervisor are:
Responsible for Managing all Import/Export Personnel.
Responsible to provide the reports from TradeSphere Mexico (TSMX) to the Logistic Customs.
Compliance Manager for the preparation of the US Reconciliation.
Responsible for the Import and Export Operating Budget.
Responsible for Cost Improvement Projects.
Responsible for Coordination of Outbound Freight Activity.
Responsible for the Receiving Activity in the US Cross Docking facility.
Responsible for inbound and outbound logistics at the Cross-Docking site.
Revision and authorization of Invoices from service providers.
Responsible for month end reporting for the plant.
Required transportation of goods to include required documentation (BOL).
Others defined by the Logistic Customs and Compliance Manager.
Revision of origin of the final product and classification.
Ensure that the raw material is classified correctly.
Monthly audit of the group activities.
Weekly management report of significant events.
Responsible for keeping updated the procedures to reflect current practices.
The periodic activities of the Logistic Customs Supervisor are:
Understanding of Billing Agreements.
Publish Inbound Transportation Guidelines (Route Inbound Materials).
File for all Damage Freight Claims.
Review Freight Bills for Correctness.
Responsible for the Inbound Freight Budget.
Assure all materials required to be shipped were moved in the most efficient and effective manner.
The eventual activities of the Logistic Customs Supervisor are:
Evaluate and make recommendation of Local Transportation.
Review the Appropriateness of Mexican Customs Broker.
Bachelor's degree in International Trade (preferred).
Knowledge and Training:
Detailed knowledge of IE for the Mexican Customs.
Transportation routing & carrier uptimes.
Seven years or more of experience in the Medical Manufacturing Industry, preferred in the IE area.
Proven ability to analyze, plan, manage and motivate.
Organized, self-starter, results oriented, with solid written and oral communication skills, strong negotiator.
Detailed knowledge of Import/Export Software’s: TradeSphere Mexico (TSMX).
