Job Description

Responsible for the execution of the market access strategy, and leading interactions with payers and key collaborators with the purpose of maintaining NUPCO & WASFATI leadership position & patient access to embecta Portfolio in Saudi Key accounts. This role is based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia and will be reporting directly to the HUB Leader for Middle East & Saudi.

Other Key Responsibilities :-

  • Develop and Implement Brand strategy to ensure achieving early access goals for existing and new launches, supporting overall Saudi budget.

  • Establish Market Access strategies, objectives, and tactical plans in alignment with the brand strategies

  • Drives product pricing analysis and recommendation by analyzing competitive products and pricing, ensuring alignment with brand value proposition, understanding customer groups (patients and physicians), collaborating with Managed Markets and Contracting Strategy. Work closely with the regional and international pricing team on the development of the pricing and reimbursement strategy that optimizes the life-time value of the company’s products, in line with corporate guidance

  • Understand priorities of stakeholders, identify partnership/ market opportunities and threats to embecta business and provide deliverable solutions & recommendations.

  • Monitor environment and practices for shifts, trends, or behaviors, interprets likely impact and suggests appropriate actions/ recommendations.

  • Work with cross functional teams to Implement market access short term tactics & long-term strategies for the life cycle management of embecta portfolio.

  • Identify, build, map and maintain strong business relationships with key decision makers, relevant stakeholders, and influencers.

  • Liaise and communicate with government and private organizations to ensure relevant parties understand the positioning of embecta Diabetes products.

  • Ensure payer relevant evidence is generated when needed through clinical trials, Health Economics modelling, RWE (Real World Evidence) studies, systematic literature research and meta-analysis effectively substantiating the full value potential.

  • Build relevant, solid, and localized value arguments with supporting evidence.

  • Create and set up innovative and impactful projects that support the needs of the customers and create win-win partnerships.

  • Work collaboratively across functional areas, serving as a resource within the region and by leveraging the expertise of others.

  • Maintain highest ethical standards and work in a spirit of embecta Code of Ethics, following rules & norms set by corporate policies

  • Ensure that all conducted activities are done in accordance with local legislation and corporate standards.

About You :-

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Pharmacy or equivalent. An MBA will be a plus

  • 5+ years of experience with consistent success in pharmaceutical or medical device sales

  • 3 years of experience in market access or key account and Stakeholders management

  • Experience in Saudi market is required

  • Proficiency in Verbal & Written communication skills

  • Interpersonal skills – Influencing, negotiation, collaboration, and teamwork

  • Leadership & autonomy to initiate & execute responsibility under minimum guidance

  • Effective analytical thinking, problem solving and decision making

  • Planning and organization skills
