This position is one of the direct internal contacts for Bard Access Systems customers. Receives orders and answers inquiries on orders, product, and shipment issues. Must be able to do a number of tasks simultaneously.The incumbent has the challenge of problem solving and the application of judgment on an ongoing basis. Customer inquiries are widely varied and often complex, requiring good judgment on behalf of the company.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Functions as the primary internal contact for all Bard Access Systems customers and, as such, receives and answers all customer inquiries via phone, email or fax, enters all customers’ orders, resolves all issues concerning customer orders and shipments.

  • Functions as the primary internal contact for the Bard Access Systems Salesforce.

  • Enters all product/literature requests for the Field Salesforce and customers.

  • Provides internal support to the Salesforce as required.

  • Provides product information to customers, including product use and maintenance, flushing protocols, etc.

  • Processes return goods authorizations, including initiating the return process, recommending a return amount per the BAS Return policy, and communicating all return goods information to the sales representatives.

  • Determines nature of complaints and identifies and implements resolutions for non-product complaints.

  • Interacts with the BAS product managers and clinical staff to resolve customer inquiries.


Education & Experience

  • A minimum of 2-two years’ prior customer service experience in a fast-paced environment. 2-two year’s prior experience in a call center preferred.

  • High school degree/GED required.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

  • Must have stellar phone etiquette handling high volume calls with professionalism and decorum to ensure client satisfaction.

  • Proficiency with MS Office tools (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.)

  • Prior experience working and using an ERP system desired. Salesforce a plus.

  • Ability to multi-task, prioritize and manage time effectively.

  • Must be creative and analytical in solving problems with a passion for excellent customer service.

  • Must possess the skills to navigate and keep customers fully engaged, while quickly and accurately typing relevant notes and information.

  • Demonstrated ability to quickly learn, adapt and become highly efficient.

  • Must be detail oriented and have excellent organizational skills.

  • Self-motivated and able to work independently, and be a team player.

  • Must possess excellent verbal and written communication skills, and be articulate.
