Job Description Summary
Exciting opportunity for a self-starter with a passion for Human Resources, exceptional customer service skills, and a proactive problem solver with a drive for excellence! The HR Coordinator is responsible for administration and operational duties within the human resources department. The incumbent will work collaboratively with employees, leaders and members of the human resources team. The incumbent will support a broad range of human resource activities, including payroll submission, new hire orientation and event planning.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
Administer various HR policies, processes and programs.
Administer new hire orientation.
Perform payroll submission.
Organize employee events, including leading activities committee, maintaining annual activity budget, and coordinating with event vendors.
Manage and report employee turn-over in conjunction with HRBPs on a monthly basis.
Be an expert on HR resources available to associates. Serve as a guide to associates and managers directing them to them appropriate HR resource such as the Associate Service Center, ASC, or HROne to ensure their needs are met.
Assist HR Business Partners in annual HR processes to include, but not limited to, annual performance review process, compensation planning and talent planning.
Act as department back up to Receptionist and HR Team.
Prepare monthly HR reports and report to HR leadership.
Participate in presentations and trainings to employees and managers regarding HR policies and programs.
May support large scale HR and/or employee projects on an as needed basis.
Perform other related duties as assigned and adhere to established policies and procedures.
Other administrative tasks and responsibilities may be assigned.
Education & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree with a minimum of 2 years related experience providing complex HR support required. Will consider candidates with an Associate’s degree with a minimum of 4 years’ related experience providing complex HR support.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
Proficiency with in Microsoft office suite required, including but not limited to Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, etc.
Proficiency with Human Resources Information Systems (HRIS) required, Workday preferred.
Strong verbal and written communications, presentation, and customer service skills required.
Solid project management skills required
Data analysis capability and experience preferred.
Ability to interpret company policies and procedures, handle multiple assignments, undertake projects, prioritize workload with minimal supervision, and change work priorities to meet unexpected deadlines.
Exhibit flexibility and adaptability in dealing with changing priorities, with acan-do attitude, and a willingness to be a continuous learner.
Excellent communication and organizational skills.
Solutions oriented with good “follow through” capabilities and customer focused mindset.
Knowledge of HR practices and basic application of employment laws.
Demonstrated ability to maintain confidentiality and handle confidential/sensitive information with professionalism and integrity.
Demonstrate initiative to suggest ways to improve services and processes and is proactive in approach.
Solid analytical and critical thinking skills with attention to detail and ability to learn adapt quickly and build relationships.
Develop awareness and continually increase knowledge of current trends in HR through formal training, reading or other mechanisms.
Proven ability to work in a cross-functional and diverse team environment, across different functions and levels of management, and demonstrated sensitivity to cultural and geographical differences when interacting with others.
