Job Description Summary
The MDS Sales Training Project Manager (“Project Manager”) is responsible for coordinating and implementing all sales/internal training logistical activities for the Training & Development Department, including training event organization, materials management, purchase orders, and other support needs. The Project Manager facilitates effective communication between the Training & Development Department, internal business units, and the field sales organization and serves as the internal office point of contact for the field. [S]he manages the multiple media requirements and technical projects for the department. The position is located in Salt Lake City, Utah.

PRIMARY DUTIES*:
The Project Manager will coordinate all sales training and internal training related activities.
Works closely with the department management and field training team to schedule, staff, and assist in various phases of Sales Excellence Training (SET) and other training events
Maintains a master training schedule
Secures needed training space, including reserving rooms in office locations
Equips new hires with field demo needs, including sample bags and training tools
Assists in updating the training curriculum/agenda
Coordinates internal presenters
Prepares training materials, including remote study materials, clinical literature, SPI/SPIN® Selling, learning activities, etc.
plans and confirms hotel stays
Confirms field trainer support
Presents when requested
Maintains detailed training documentation for all attendees
Coordinates training graduation award dinner/s
Assists in ensuring all sales training materials are compliant with local and corporate regulatory requirements
Edits and proofreads all course materials, as needed
Assists with the copy approval process through Veeva
Assists in the preparation and logistics of the National and Spring Sales Meetings
Manages training department inventory and maintains par levels on BD products and competitive products needed for the sales training program
Works with finance and Director of Sales Training & Development to meet monthly budget limitations
Manages field demo equipment needs, including ordering and distributing capital equipment, vein blocks, wet arms, etc. in conjunction with marketing
Coordinates the training department webinars, including invites, IT support, speakers, etc.
Maintains the training department’s learning activities, incorporating new content as directed by a training manager
Manages the instructional design and technical projects/materials for the team, including managing outside vendor relationships
Assists in the creation of sales podcasts, online/e-learning courses, PowerPoint presentations, e-forms, etc.
Assists in the delivery of the monthly sales rankings and other contest numbers to the field, in coordination with the Direction of Sales Training and Development
Liaisons between the training department and other internal departments such as Global and US Marketing, Regulatory, GPO/IDN team, Clinical team, Commercial Operations, Legal, IT, HR, R&D, etc.
Builds relationships at corporate office in Franklin Lakes, as well as other locations
Serves as home office point-of-contact for field
Provides timely and accurate answers to questions regarding training and other department initiatives
Participates in cross-functional projects geared toward driving productivity of the sales organization
Processes all purchase orders/invoices related to the Training Department
Manages all training department shipments
Responsible for submitting all quarterly training and training bonus payments in compliance with current policies
Maintains relationships with outside vendors and arranges meetings for vendor capability presentations
Conducts qualifying site visits for off-campus meetings and negotiates rates for services
Completes special assignments as directed by training managers
Assists with the needs of sales management, as needed

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE/ QUALIFI CATIONS:
Minimum of 3-5 years experiences in a sales and marketing, education, training, instructional design, meeting management, and/or senior level administrative support.
Strong project and time management skills with an ability to maintain numerous priorities and meet established deadlines.
Self-motivated, takes on additional responsibilities, and manages priorities with minimal supervision.
Works efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Relates to all levels of individuals, both internally and externally.
Complies with all company policies and procedures.
Advanced Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint skills.
Adobe Pro/Photoshop, Salesforce.com, e-learning and e-formatting skills preferred.
Project Management certified a plus.
Travel required as needed.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
The individual may be required to sit or stand for extended periods of time and perform general office functions that may include extended walking, bending, stooping, and reaching.
The role may occasionally require lifting up-to 25 lbs.
