By aligning and simplifying our work, our Integrated Diagnostic Solutions (IDS) business unit aims to drive growth and innovation around everything from integrated specimen management to diagnostic solutions. .

About the role

The Product Manager is a vital member of the marketing function and acts as a product and market needs knowledge champion to the Sales Spain team. Building and implementing the portfolio strategy for Business Unit to achieve growth targets set by the business will be key whilst aligning to the overall execution of the marketing plan – demand, value generation and communication.

The Product Manager will lead and work closely with the Marketing manager leader to ensure strategy and content delivery with differentiated messages supporting the IDS solutions portfolio (focused on Microbiology solutions that improve diagnostic stewardship) offered by BD. Growth opportunities will be analysed, prioritized and profitably targeted to ensure commercial objectives completed. Market Shaping and Development work undertaken to ensure growth opportunities in Microbiology labs prioritized, targeted, captured, and delivered to sales team, including work with Marketing Europe, Medical affairs and other functions that support market development.

Main responsibilities will include:

  • Delivers the operating plan: achievement of growth objectives including market share, revenue, profit and return on investment for all the channels/categories of business and/or key customers.

  • To set the Short -long-term vision and strategy for your company’s products. Define the success of your product- solution.

  • To communicate this strategy to all the relevant participants and stakeholders. Explaining “why” to various stakeholders and constituents — why you are prioritizing one feature or theme over another in a release; why you’ve chosen to focus more on one particular goal for the next two quarters versus another goal.

  • Responsible for managing and implementing marketing activities through research, strategic planning and implementation.

  • Bring Evidence-Based Decision-Making to Your Communication

About you

  • Degree in healthcare. Masters’ degree a plus.

  • 3-5 years of successful related marketing, consulting or product management experience. Including accountability, customer interaction, and a direct connection to revenue.

  • Experience in clinical diagnostics and infectious disease market is a plus.

  • English fluent
