The Clinical Specialist will be in charge of providing a highly professional level of clinical support in Iberia while being aligned with the strategic execution implemented by the Commercial Organization. This person will report in to marketing director and will work closely with sales director to ensure strategic plan execution for each account across the region.

The purpose of this role is to promote growth of our products through specialized clinical sessions, training programs and evidence generation programs, giving also technical support in the operating room to ensure the correct use of Peripheral Interventional BD products. He/She will be also responsible for developing projects with KOLs for different scientific activities, working along with the Sales Team, European marketing team and BDX to develop materials, activities, campaigns, etc., for key accounts and customers, helping to increase the presence of the BD solutions in the market. It is a wide-ranging role involving:

  • Facilitate sophisticated Practice sessions in Iberia. These sessions may include theory component such as anatomy and physiology related to field related and well as complication management and device/techniques training.

  • Clinical on-site support from the BD Clinical Specialist who maintains their skills as a proficient technical and clinical specialist in the Iberia market.

  • Act as consultant for customers in order to improve or simplify their own internal processes.

  • Compose and review clinical papers, posters, articles, oral presentations related to the use of BD products and field of BD expertise.

  • Prepare, run and attend Regional (across Spain & Portugal) or International Meetings (International education trainings, National & International events, Webinars and newsletters).

The ideal candidate should be educated to Degree level in Health Sciences; will have strong clinical skills in the field ideally in peripheral endovascular procedures or interventional cardiology. This person should demonstrate a successful record in training healthcare professionals, which will include the implementation of new products. In addition, he/she should be able to identify new opportunities whilst maintaining excellent customer relations within established accounts and develop key opinion leaders and able to work closely with members of the sales and marketing teams to deliver training and assist in meetings. Ideally, you will also bring:

  • Proven track to work in a complex environment with a multitude of geographically spread partners.

  • Hardworking, enthusiastic, resilient, adaptable & committed to the continuous learning and improvement.

  • Ability to work autonomously and being part of a strong team and be capable of independently generating, prioritizing and completing work.

  • Fluent in written and spoken English and Spanish.
