Our vision for Medication Delivery Solutions at BD

As a leading manufacturer and supplier of products that are used daily in healthcare, the Medication Delivery Solutions (MDS) team provide a wide range of products for injection and infusion therapy, regional anesthesia and closed medication management.

About the role

The Marketing Asset Specialist EMEA is responsible for managing the approval process of marketing assets for MDS EMEA. This involves supporting the team with approved marketing collateral, liaising with stakeholders during the copy-approval process, and driving marketing campaigns and digital assets.

The role ensures that all materials are accurate, compliant, consistent, and aligned with campaign objectives. It involves close collaboration with a variety of stakeholders across commercial and functional teams, including the marketing team, medical and regulatory affairs, and legal associates.

The Marketing Asset Specialist drive the copy-approval process, shares best practices across the MDS organization, and continuously provide feedback to identify area for improvement.

Main responsibilities will include:

  • Perform the role of MDS EMEA Ad Prom Coordinator in the electronic copy approval system (Veeva Vault PromoMats).

  • Handle the copy approval process from claims and collateral creation, to review and approval of collateral, and release of approved material. Lead multiple simultaneous workstreams to support the regional team and supporting the translation and country approval where needed.

  • Work in close collaboration with the marketing team on the campaign material and manage the end-to-end approval process of collateral. This involves liaising and managing collaborators across with Marketing, Medical, Legal, and Regulatory to ensure the marketing material is accurate, compliant, and consistent.

  • Incorporate feedback from collaborators into the marketing material as needed, using the Adobe Suite. The role also includes growing the claims' library, maintaining and updating approved material and uploading it to the relevant platforms.

  • Become the Subject Matter Expert on the Advertising and Promotional policy and drive awareness across the organisation. Ensuring that all assets adhere to our policies, as well as providing suggestions for improvement on the collateral and process are encouraged. Maintaining the copy-approval pipeline and provide regular status reports on progress.

  • Quality check of material: Review and edit collateral for grammar, spelling, punctuation, style, tone, clarity, and readability.

  • Check and verify the accuracy and validity of the information, data, and sources used in the materials

  • Ensure that the materials align with the relevant policies.

  • Support the translation and local country review and approval process.

About you

  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience of working in a large matrix organization

  • Proficient in English, verbal and written

  • Process and details orientation

  • Project management, ability to prioritize multiple continuous workstreams with tight deadlines supported by project management systems

  • Ability to translate policies into a framework of marketing collateral

  • Takes ownership of tasks and ability to work independently as well as collaboratively
