The AR Process Team Leader is responsible for leading and managing the Credit, Collections and Billing Administration functions at the NASSC. Maintains the responsibility of achieving service level agreements, reporting, and adherence to company policies.

  • Talent Management – To manage & lead associates by providing coaching, feedback, development, direction, motivation, and resources to achieve the team’s strategic objectives. Provide guidance within the department when initiatives are developed and implemented to ensure the team is working together towards achieving their goals. Recruits a diverse team with the right profile and potential. Develops associates knowledge in respective area of expertise.

  • Responsible for managing and overseeing the accounts receivable process from end to end in order to ensure the accurate recording and timely application of customer payments.

  • Ensures compliance with internal/external audit controls and company policies.

  • Lead projects and teams to foster continuous improvement activities. Responsible for developing and implementing efficiencies within the department to streamline processes thru lean/six sigma methodology.

  • Accountable for the achievement and implementation of key strategic goals.

  • Interact and influence key internal/external customers in order to achieve major objectives.

  • Must have the ability to work independently and in a team environment, multitask, set own priorities, meet deadlines, and adapt to a changing environment.

Required Education:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Finance / Accounting / Economics / Business

Required Skills and Knowledge:

  • 3+ years Accounts Receivable Management experience

  • Understanding of internal controls (including SOX)

  • Strong leadership and team building skills

  • Expert communication and presentation skills

  • Strong analytical/problem solving skills

  • Strong Microsoft Excel & Word skills

  • 3+ experience working in a Shared Service Environment

  • Expert analysis of financial statements & 3rd party credit reports

  • 3+ years management or supervisory experience

Preferred Skills and Knowledge:

  • 5+ years management experience in Accounts Receivable or Order to Cash environment

  • 5+ years’ experience working in a regional shared service center

  • Prior experience in participating or leading lean/six sigma initiatives
