BD (Becton, Dickinson and Company) HR Data Management Analyst in San Antonio, Texas

Job Description SummaryThe HR Data Management Analyst reports to the Americas ASC Data Management Lead and the purpose of this position is to support the Data Management Lead and Data Ops Specialist as well as Customer Interaction Center (CIC) in case escalation and form completion as a tier 2 level support.

Key Responsibilities

  • Become an expert on the system/s supporting the Data Management/ Data Ops.

  • Input case data entry and manage forms completion.

  • Liaise with payroll or countries with special requirements to complete data changes.

  • Perform tasks in support of the Data Management in accordance with standard operating procedures. This may include processing transactions in Workday or other systems.

  • Support special projects.

  • Provide support to the CIC as required. This may include systems navigation, call script support, etc.

  • Create written communications instructing users how to use systems.

  • Manage and support any escalated or high quality CIC cases.

  • Flag any gaps in knowledge management materials at tier 0 (HROne) and tier 1 (call scripts).

  • Complete all forms requests from the CIC.

  • Operate in a diversified environment of language variation


  • High School diploma required. Associate’s Degree or Bachelor's degree preferred.

  • Minimum of 1-one to 2-two year’s professional experience working in a Shared Services environment supporting HRIS Data Management.

  • Excellent proficiency in English (read, write and speak) required.

  • Experience working with an HRIS system, preferably Workday.

  • Previous experience as a systems “super-user”.

  • Ability to resolve routine problems and questions independently.

  • Excellent organization skills and strong ability to work in a fast paced team environment.

  • Strong attention to detail with the ability to multitask and manage several caseloads.

  • Excellent oral and written communication skills and the ability to independently compose routine written communications.

  • Experience using a case management system and knowledge portal.

  • Multi-tasking capabilities to manage several caseloads.

  • Excel skills a plus

  • Proficiency in Spanish, Brazilian Portuguese, and/or French Canadian languagea plus.
