This position is in the Medication Management Solutions business and reports to the Sr. Director of Marketing, Pyxis Patient Care Solutions. This position leads Product Marketing for our service offering and implementation solutions. Key responsibilities include development of a multi-year strategy that encompasses customer needs, market trends, competitive analysis, business model, pricing and life-cycle management.
This position will collaborate closely with Global Customer Service (GCS), R&D, upstream & downstream marketing, global marketing teams and adjacent businesses.
Become subject matter expert in implementation and services processes and tools.
Bring the customer perspective and market expertise into implementation and service projects.
Represent service and implementation needs during upstream product definition.
Create a forward-looking product lifecycle management roadmap in alignment with product managers ensuring an optimal customer experience.
Develop a holistic multi-year roadmap for implementation tools.
Understand and prioritize customer needs – domestic and international.
Collaborate with GCS teams on service and implementation innovation and select ideas based on customer and business criteria.
Ensure service and implementation solutions align with the complex overall Pyxis ES solutions portfolio.
Create business cases and ROI analysis for product trade-off decisions.
In collaboration with downstream marketing, prepare launch plans and execute successful market introduction.
Conduct market research projects as needed.
Serve as a role model for product marketing excellence.
Contribute to the global marketing strategy for the global MMS Annual Strategic Review Plan.
Bachelor’s degree in Business or Marketing.
MBA strongly preferred
Experience managing the service offering for an enterprise IT solution.
5-10 years of progressive marketing experience.
Healthcare experience strongly preferred.
Creative and innovative thinking around customer problems and developing new solutions.
Product marketing experience with hardware and software products in medical device field.
Global experience – working with regional teams.
Enterprise software experience a plus especially with HIT vendors.
Business and financial modeling (budgeting, pricing, forecasting, etc.).
Excellent communication, presentation and writing skills.
Collaborator with a track record of success in highly matrixed global organizations.
Fluency in a major European language a plus.
