Job Description SummaryThe Group Marketing Manager for Non-Acute/US Retail will support key marketing deliverables including- identifying new market/business opportunities in the Non-Acute/Retail segments, customer unmet need characterization, lead VOC projects, marketing plan and business case development, defining product requirements, and executing strategy to meet/exceed KDG business deliverables.

As projects move along the Global Product Development System (GPDS) process, the Group Marketing Manager will work closely with the commercial teams to successfully launch solutions. In doing so, this person will collaborate with internal and possibly external cross functional teams to drive execution of new products and services introduction into new market and customer segments.

This highly visible position will be expected to help identify, develop, and accelerate our growth opportunities into Non-Acute/US Retail segments.

Job Description

The Group Marketing Manager for Non-Acute/US Retail will support key marketing deliverables including- identifying new market/business opportunities in the Non-Acute/Retail segments, customer unmet need characterization, lead VOC projects, marketing plan and business case development, defining product requirements, and executing strategy to meet/exceed KDG business deliverables.

Responsibilities:

  • Identify customer product, workflow, and service requirements to create a superior customer experience

  • Prioritize requirements

  • Create and finalize pricing for key solutions

  • Work with Rowa Product Management on the launch of ecommerce site

  • Support and at times lead OTC process

  • Provide and revise forecasts

  • Gather customer requirements

  • Work with customers on product requirements and funnel these requirements into the GPDS process managed by the Global team

  • Work with downstream marking to execute HEOR and go-to-market strategies

  • Work with CI and Product Management team to build internal/external KPI dashboard

  • Serve as the subject matter expert for key markets and products

  • Demonstrates in-depth experience, knowledge and skills in product management and the product development process including business case development, customer research, concept development, usability studies and use case development

  • Prioritize R&D activities based on voice of customer, competitive assessment and anticipated market trends.

  • Assess financial implications, including profitability and viability, for complex product/market portfolios or segment

  • Proven ability to influence cross-functional teams/members without formal authority.

  • Participate on cross-functional teams with members in sales, manufacturing, field operations, R&D, quality, regulatory, clinical, marketing and user experience design to achieve economic success.

  • Assist in evaluating alternative business models for monetizing capital equipment, software, consumables (when appropriate) and services

  • Monitor emerging trends and problems within healthcare market, including macroeconomic, regulatory, compliance, technology and competitive areas. Distills them to product impact and communicates them concisely to the business.

  • Support the ASR (Annual Strategic Review Process) planning for Non-Acute/US Retail

  • Create the “Where to Play” for the Broader Pouch Packaging Market

  • Define and size market

Qualifications:

  • 5+ years experience in medical device or healthcare technology product management

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Engineering, or related field

  • Excellent leadership, organizational, and written and oral communications skills

  • Proven ability to develop strong working relationships with cross functional teammates

  • Use logic and reasoning to identify and evaluate the strengths and weaknesses of alternative solutions or approaches to problems

  • Personal characteristics: customer focused, critical thinking, self-motivated, resourceful, interested in professional development

  • Demonstrated strong interpersonal skills related to interfacing and establishing relationships with customers and key influencers to ensure that marketing decisions are customer-driven.

  • Role is regional in nature, but will require collaboration with international counterparts and periodic international travel

  • Up to 25% travel
