Job Description Summary

The Project Leader will work closely with Program and Project managers and will be responsible for leading and supporting projects with respect to creating and modifying data in multiple business systems. A successful candidate will coordinate and complete required data creation for New Product Introduction, Sustaining Engineering and Life Cycle management (discontinuation) through the defined processes. The Project Leader is also responsible for assisting in process definition and development of documentation related to the quality and accuracy of data entered in business systems.

Support the Program and Project managers in leading risks through:

Data creation in multiple Business Systems

Support with program/project documentation

Adhere to design and development program documentation

Participate in Core and Extended Team meetings to identify and flag risks

Lead sub-projects and ensure results are completed

Schedule, organize and lead meetings, maintain agenda, record, and publish minutes

Work with program/project core team members on essential data verification in Business Systems.

Keep partners informed on the status of work completion relative to scheduled deadlines.

Responsible for coordinating Engineering Control Requests (ECR/O) and Quality Notifications (QN) for Reagents PMO

Identify critical issues and work with multi-functional departments for resolution, and actively participate in Continuous Improvement projects.

Participates in activities that review processes to recommend changes and process improvements where justifiable.

Ensure compliance to the company's design control requirements. Document’s business and system processes.

Stays ahead of requirements for compliance for each project to maintain compliance.

In coordination with the Program and Project Managers, is responsible for applying program management standard methodologies throughout the organization.

Minimum Qualifications:

Education and Experience:

Bachelor's degree in science or technical field

Biotech, Reagents or instrument development experience is preferred

2-3 years’ experience in a new product development or manufacturing environment

Minimum 2 years cross-functional team experience preferred

Project management experience is a bonus

Experience working in computer databases and translating business processes into operational systems

Experience in working in a regulated environment

Knowledge and experience with SAP is preferred

Demonstrated impact of implementing process improvement projects

Demonstrated experience with MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project)

Demonstrated results-oriented capabilities as contributor and team leader.

Good analytical and problem-solving skills

Effective meeting management, decision making, written and oral communication skills.
