The Learning Consultant, Learning & Development is responsible for determining the learning needs of and supplying curriculum for associates at the JG4 and potentially above that level. This target audience would be “manager of others”.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Responsible for global learning approach and curriculum for targeted population (in partnership with all global BDU leads)

  • Responsible for implementation of the global curriculum for North America, including responsibility for communications to target audience (to drive awareness, enrollment, etc.).

  • Work closely with the North America Associate Service Center (NAASC) to run the daily operations of their courses (e.g., annual calendar development, class scheduling, leader-teachers, class enrollment, metrics, SOW creation, etc.)

  • Partners with business leaders and broader HR organization to identify training needs.

  • Analyzes target audience and learner environments to identify appropriate instructional strategies.

  • Leads classroom training for sessions typically up to 25 people and/or facilitates synchronous web-based delivery of training.

  • Coaches less experienced Leader-Teachers to improve their facilitation skills.

  • Utilizes instructional design methodologies to create complex, high-quality, and innovative instructional materials.

  • Collaborates with internal and external resources to create or source learning materials and/or solutions.

  • Monitors and synthesizes data to evaluate training effectiveness; identifies gaps and makes recommendations for improvements.

  • Participates in or leads projects for BDU or for the Talent & Culture COE.

Required Qualifications:

  • Ability to travel 50%

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, Marketing, or related field

  • 5-10 years’ experience in Management Training

  • Strong facilitation/presentation skills

  • Advanced knowledge of adult learning theories

  • Robust interpersonal skills in both client interactions and team interactions

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 1+ years’ experience in Project Management

  • Master’s Degree in related area

Knowledge and Skills:

  • Attention to detail, accuracy, and precision

  • Ability to work successfully in a remote/virtual team environment

  • Strong analytical / problem solving skills

  • Excellent oral/written communication skills
