Job Description Summary # Job Description The calibration technician II is required to apply knowledge of electronics, mathematics, and measurement science to calibrate inspection, measurement, and test equipment (IM&TE) in order to ensure measurement accuracyin accordance with precise standards and procedures. Essential Duties and Responsibilities + Calibrate the inspection, measurement, and test equipment (IM&TE) + Follow BD calibration procedures, industry standards (ISO), or manufacturers’ requirements for accurate calibration of IM&TE. + Assist in the coordination of periodic onsite calibrations with third party contractors. + Maintain working calibration standards. + Collect, measure, summarize, and record data gathered during calibration. + Identify and correct measurement errors, as applicable. + Perform second review to ensure calibrated equipment is complaint with specifications and requirements. + Generate Calibration Reports. + Works with a minimal degree of supervision + Complies with regulations and standards + Work with process improvements projects + Performs other related duties and responsibilities as may be assigned.
