JOB SUMMARY :

Leads, manages and oversees all aspects of supporting and improving one or more of the following business processes: SCM and Production Planning, Procurement, Logistics, Customer Facing, Manufacturing, Quality, Preventive Maintenance, or Service Management for the Diagnostic Systems business unit. This includes global alignment across the BDDS locations.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES :

  • Responsible for the business process and respective system design for the assigned process. Link to the Global Business Process Organization as it relates to any global design requests by the business. Responsible to insure the business case justifications for ERP design enhancements are vetted across any integrated process areas and are complete and robust.

  • Responsible for the development of standard business processes for BDDS. This includes the establishment, integration across processes and review of business processes. This includes the application of master data to deliver the appropriate business results.

  • Responsible for linking SAP functionality and business process to ensure operational effectiveness and value added activities.

  • Drive the development of organizational capabilities as it relates to the respective global processes and the BDDS Process strategy. Design, implement, and facilitate the roll out of related system enhancements. Responsible for facilitating the sharing of best practices across the business, including definition of roles and responsibilities.

  • Actively works with other BD businesses and regions in developing, where applicable, global solutions to address business opportunities.

  • Responsible for managing the development, communication, and training associated with the metrics for their respective area. Working closely with the business, define the metric and gain consensus of definitions/specifications as well as format. Apply data based analysis to assist the business in improving key performance indicators.

  • Responsible for proactive communication to the BDDS superuser network, including the facilitation of superuser meetings as well as driving business initiatives through the organization.

  • Responsible to drive process optimization. Promoting commonality in process, tools, and SAP settings. Leading re-engineering of workflow along with SAP master data. Utilize Six Sigma, Lean, MES, and validation tools coupled with SAP to drive business results.

  • Continually assess current and required work flows and business processes for respective area; designing, implementing improvements to maximize efficiencies.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS :

Education:

Bachelor’s degree in Operations Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or related field is preferred with 5 or more years of related business experience. Minimum 8 or more years of related business experience without Bachelor’s degree.

Knowledge and Skills:

  • Demonstrated facilitation and leadership skills.

  • In depth knowledge of an ERP system (SAP )

  • Excellent analytical skills, communication skills, and problem resolution skills to solve business conflicts.

  • Deep process thinking with strong cross functional integration

  • Demonstrated ability to lead teams and drive for results without direct authority.

  • Able to operate successfully, interacting, and interfacing with all levels of the organization.

  • Demonstrated customer-centric focus and business strategy understanding.

  • Strong business knowledge with the ability to influence outcomes and gain buy in

  • Demonstrated change management skills and use of tools to facilitate and imbed change

  • Intermediate to advanced experience with Microsoft Office Programs and VISIO.
