Job Description Summary

Join our dynamic team as Finance Business Partner and Operations Manager, where you will play a pivotal role in driving strategic financial decisions and operational excellence. As a key member of the Nordic Commercial Leadership Team, you will manage a team of dedicated individuals and collaborate with cross-functional associates to craft the financial landscape of our organization.

You will also lead the commercial excellence team, a team composed of 5 business analysts. With the team you will drive commercial projects. Those projects may include pricing strategies, customer segmentation, sales performance management, and supporting strategic marketing initiatives. Overall driving strategic insights and analysis. This position offers flexibility with a hybrid working model, allowing you to work from home and spend 3 days a week in our modern Stockholm office.

Main responsibilities will include:

• Support the Country General Manager and Nordic Leadership Team with their key priorities, providing financial and accounting advice

• Participate in the Nordic country review meetings, communicating financial to high-level executives and providing crucial support for budgeting, forecasting, and annual planning

• Ensure with the local finance team that the accounting records are properly stated under US and local GAAP and evaluating financial performance, measuring returns on investments, and offering strategic insights that empower our business units

• Act as a force for the sales strategy

• Leading a team responsible for sales and gross profit planning, you will ensure accurate and timely reporting and lead towards forecast accuracy improvement

• Drive commercial excellence initiatives, optimize/standardize business processes and governance, and provide decision support through market and sales analytics

• Collaborate with local finance on monthly closing and planning cycles is crucial for success

• Represent finance in front of local authorities (tax, customs, competition, ...)

About you:

• Master’s degree in business or finance-related field

• Proven experience in a controller-accounting position, ideally within a matrix organisation

• Proficiency in Excel is required, ideally coupled with PowerBI and BPC revenue planning

• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills

• Multilingual proficiency in English is essential, and another Nordic language is preferred

• A first people manager experience would be highly desired with the ability to influence partners at all business levels

• Analytical and problem-solving skills, with ability to quantify financial impacts and make strategic recommendations.
