An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Nordic Marketing Manager within our MMS division.

Reporting to the Nordic Country Business Lead (CBL) for MMS (Medication Management Solutions, Infusion and Dispensing), the Nordic Marketing Manager will be driving the strategic marketing efforts for MMS in the Nordics. Localizing European marketing strategies into Nordic strategies, initiatives and tactics, as well as developing compelling value propositions and appropriate communication programs will be the responsibility of the Marketing Manager. Effective collaboration with the local sales organization and other functions will be essential.

This role will be based from our office in Stockholm.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES

In this role you will act as a strong ambassador for BD and our values externally and internally. In this role, the successful candidate will be managing and coaching a team of 3 employees. This role requires performing and exemplifying People Management and building talent that contributes to the ongoing success of the business and you will also be responsible to ensure talent flow within the organization as well as to identify and develop successors for his/her function or team functions.

Additional tasks include:

Strategy

  • Influences as well as and localizes European marketing strategies into Nordic strategies, initiatives and tactics that can be measured and followed up

  • Develops compelling value propositions and appropriate communication programs.

  • Identifies training needs and organizes and drives such trainings for the sales organization

  • Organizes and participates in the preparation of the Annual Strategic Review (ASR) for MMS Nordics to define growth strategies and business plans to drive revenue growth in tight collaboration with the CBL.

  • Market intelligence & growth opportunities – networks internally and externally to develop a deep understanding of customer needs, competitor landscape and proposes plans to exploit opportunities or manage threats to business growth.

  • Drives growth strategies, e.g. within Patient Safety, Medication Management and non-hospital segment, to deliver revenue and return on investment goals.

  • Responsible for the Nordic Clinical and Health Economic strategy, approach and planning of activities.

  • Responsible for the Nordic Connectivity strategy, approach and planning of activities.

  • Responsible for ensuring efficient tender preparation and pricing support from the team towards the sales organization and Price & Tender group.

  • Responsible for ensuring efficient support in forecasting and budget preparations and activities.

Marketing Communication

  • In collaboration with the MMS Sales Manager define, develop and implement value propositions and campaigns to strengthen the BD brand in the Nordics.

  • Ensure BD engages effectively at all appropriate external events for MMS key stakeholders to reinforce the value proposition to the Nordic market.

Marketing Planning & Pricing

  • Helps create a culture that thrives in fact-based and customer insight led strategies.

  • Develop network of key influencers nationally and locally in collaboration with the sales organization.

  • Support development and implementation of pricing strategies in collaboration with the MMS CBL and Sales Manager.

Qualifications

We are looking for a highly dynamic and driven individual with a proven track record in management and strategic marketing within the healthcare industry in the Nordics - both planning and local execution. Previous experiences with tender purchase processes in the Nordics is advantageous. Educated to a degree level, you should have experiences with campaign management and digital marketing. At the same time you must be able to demonstrate strong KOL development and networking skills. Previous experiences within the marketing of capital equipment are advantageous. We are looking for a good team leader who can generate engagement with the team and establish create approaches to develop capabilities within the team. In addition you should have the ability to effectively work cross-functionally with key functions like Sales, Supply Chain, Business Support, Finance and HR.

Fluent English language skills as well as speaking at least one Scandinavian language are required.
