Urology and Critical Care (UCC) is an established and trusted partner in urinary healthcare, developing complete solutions which optimize the urine drainage process in the Acute Care Hospital setting.

About the role

As a Nordic Sales Manager UCC you will play a key part in developing the sales growth of BDI Nordic and to maintain a professional team. The UCC team has employees in Denmark and Sweden with future potential to grow in other areas as well.

The role covers all Nordic countries and is field based with required business travel to cover the whole district as well as when attending Nordic sales meetings and congresses. You will report to the Country Business Leader, BD Interventional, Nordics.

Main responsibilities will include:

  • Provide effective people management and leadership in sales; you will manage a sales team and be responsible for performance management, mentoring and providing sales training.

  • Sales and budget responsibility for products within the sales division, UCC, Artic Sun (Targeted temperature management), urology within both hospitals and home care and also endourology.

  • Develop and present strategic and operational business plans built on business analyzes

  • Responsibility for pricing and contract/tender management

  • Full responsibility for P&L, sales forecasting/BVR, as well as being accountable for optimization of profitability, sales/market share and revenue growth in short and long term.

  • Cooperation with distributors to develop relationships and business results

About you

The ideal candidate will likely have a University degree, experience from and proven track record of sales management is considered a merit. Experience from financial data and experience in supporting sales teams with intelligence is highly important as well as working with excel and similar systems to build and present future plans and budgets.

You are able to demonstrate leadership, project management and business management skills, and you have a sophisticated eye for business with ability to plan, analyze and forecast sales results.

You have excellent communication skills and the ability to build long lasting relationships.

It is important that you have an understanding for all Nordic cultural differences in each country, in addition you should at least speak one Nordic language on a proficient level.

Clinical experience is a merit but is not considered a must. Key is what you can bring in terms of demeanour and growth approach, two areas needed in order to continue developing this business further.
