The Referral Coordinator is responsible for developing relationships with key staff members at existinghealth plan accounts to provide them with information on the company’s network status, products, services, and referral process in an effort to continuously increase the volume of referrals sent to the company. TheReferral Coordinator will also be responsible for coordinating enrollment and order processes with the Sales,Sales Support, IV, Quality Assurance, Order Processing and Shipping departments, as well as communicating the enrollment and order status back to referring staff members at the health plan.
Essential job Functions:
Assist in implementing programs designed to meet the needs of payers that increase thecompany’s value proposition to the payer and drive increased patient referrals.
Establish and grow relationships with key staff members at existing health plan accounts with the goal ofcontinuously increasing patient referrals across all product lines that are sent to the company.
Coordinate new patient enrollment and order processes with the Sales, IV, Sales Support, QualityAssurance, Data/QA and Shipping departments to ensure services are provided timely and with a high level ofcare.
Engage in regular communication with referring staff members at the health plan to keep theminformed on the patient enrollment and order status.
Maintain a daily tracker of new patient referrals and manage their enrollment, order status, and tracking information. This includes developing new reporting as needed for new products and processes.
Assist in resolving health plan and/or patient issues on an as needed basis and communicate with internal department teams and the health plans with status and/or resolution
Responsible for Referral reporting including creating pivot tables, graphs and monthly reports.
Responsible for implementing and managing outreach plan and activities as directed by management. Activities include outreach phone calls and emails to introduce the Referral process to health plans and increase patient referrals.
Assist in coordinating all activities for Referral meetings held onsite or offsite at health plan locations. Includes communicating with key health plan contacts, creating agendas, meeting invites, shipping samples & marketing literature and coordinating web-ex meetings if needed.
Participates in special projects and supports the Network Development team as needed.
Experience in customer service and/or inside sales preferred.
Strong oral and written communication skills with attention to detail required.
Basic knowledge of insurance policies and billing requirements preferred.
14. Performs other duties and tasks as assigned.
Education/Experience: High School Diploma or general education degree (GED), and three to four yearsrelated experience with working knowledge of sales, account management, insurance verification,medical billing, paralegal, project management, and/or contract administration, or one to two years of direct Liberator position experience with performance that meets or exceeds expectations.

1. Language: Ability to read, analyze, and interpret medical supply publications, technicalprocedures, and/or training tools. Ability to write internal and external businesscorrespondence. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions frommanagement, team members, and/or customers.
2. Math: Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions,proportions, and percentages. Ability to apply intermediate math skills .
3. Reasoning: Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of variables. Ability tointerpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.Advanced analytical reasoning to include ability to forecast exponentials within work flowprocesses and reason against outside factors.
4. Computer: Knowledge of Microsoft Office Applications, Access or other database software.
5. Telecommunications: Ability to utilize or knowledge of call center telecommunicationssoftware.
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to walk, sit; use handsto finger, handle, or feel and talk or hear. The employee is occasionally required to stand. The employeemust occasionally lift and/or move up to 10 lbs.
1.Ability to work some evening shifts, weekends, and overtime as needed.
2.Ability to travel up to 15%.
While performing the duties of this position, the employee performs tasks in a temperaturecontrolled office environment under normal office conditions. The noise level in the work environment isusually moderate. The work environment involves minimal exposure to hazards or physical risks, which require following basic safety precautions.
