Job Description Summary
Our organization is looking for a hands-on Senior Accountant to manage the outsourced finance and accounting functions for our plant in China. In this role, you will be responsible for working closely with our outsourcing partner to ensure all transactional activities and treasury related tasks are accurately and efficiently performed. You will also be responsible for managing the local regulatory reporting and other statutory reporting and foreign currency reporting. You will report to the Controller, Greater Asia and will work closely with cross-functional teams
Job Description
Manage the day-to-day finance and accounting operations for the plant in Suzhou, including managing outsourced partner to ensure timely and accurate processing of all transactional financial and accounting related activities and treasury tasks.
- Manage and perform month end related activities relating to the Record-to-report process, financial reporting requirements to ensure that it is in accordance with the local GAAP and USGAAP requirements.
• Monitor and analyze financial data to identify trends and opportunities for improvement.
- Manage the company’s treasury functions, including cash management, bank and forecasting
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure accurate and timely completion of all financial reporting requirements
Responsible for managing the local regulatory reporting and other statutory reporting for the plant
Responsible for foreign currency reporting and treasury related activities and banking related issues management.
Manage the company’s tax obligations and ensure timely payments.
• Work with both internal and external auditors to facilitate and support the audit process.
- Responsible to ensure SOX compliance.
• Prepare monthly financial reports and ad-hoc analysis as required.
• Maintain accurate records and ensure proper documentation is in place for all financial transactions.
Responsible for SAP integration testing for our newly design SAP ERP system.
Responsible for management of relationship management with outsourcing service provider for issues resolutions for operational activities for the plant.
Any other task as assigned.
