BD (Becton, Dickinson and Company) Account Manager, Diabetes Care, NSW in Sydney, Australia

Job Description Summary

The Account Manager is responsible for developing business with existing customers and establishing new accounts within a designated account or territory to achieve budgeted sales expectations.

Job Description

Responsibilities:

  • Achievement of agreed sales and market share targets for the BD range of Diabetes Care products to various market segments as outlined by the Business Leader, Diabetes Care to ensure consistent sales, market share and profit growth.

  • Compliance to Sales Force Effectiveness Standards. Utilisation of salesforce.com as per requirements outlined by management.

  • Ensure accurate and appropriate delivery of key communication messages in a specific timeframe for the BD Diabetes Care range of products to targeted Healthcare Practitioners.

  • Promote and implement the range of Diabetes Care products in public and private hospitals, in close partnership with other relevant BD business units.

  • Maintain company property, including computer equipment, in good working condition and also in an image that reflects the professional standards of BD at all times.

  • Participate actively in trade conferences organised locally and nationally.

  • Develop and maintain local partnership with relevant industry bodies and Pharmaceutical Partner sales representatives in your territory.

  • Other related tasks at the discretion of management.
