Job Description Summary

The Field Service Technician role is to support our NSW based customers to commission, fault diagnose and repair the machines and other equipment and ensure the correct operation of the customer systems.

Role Responsibilities

Field Service

  • Ensuring that systems and maintenance schedules in designated area are maintained.

  • Planning and coordinating own site service calls and planned maintenance activities for designated customers.

  • Providing technical support to customers.

  • Machine commissioning and customer training.

Technical Support

  • Providing troubleshooting support to customer sites.

  • On call remote support required.

Skills/Qualifications

  • Minimum 18 months experience in Electromechanical Devices.

  • Qualifications in Electrical/Mechanical/Mechatronics related.

  • The engineer must have the skills to commission, fault diagnose and repair the machines and other equipment and ensure the correct operation of the customer systems as a whole.

  • High quality customer communication skills are also required as liaison with the customer through the service process and providing occasional customer training are key activities within this role.

  • Interpersonal and technical skills necessary to support service engineers are also key elements required to fulfill this role.

  • Computer skills including Microsoft Office Packages.
