BD Interventional (BDI) focus on leading innovation and life-enhancing devices in the field of surgical, endovascular, urological and critical care interventions aiming at advancing the treatment of high burden diseases and enabling surgical and interventional procedures.

The Customer Service Specialist will support Venclose, Inc., a provider of solutions for the treatment of chronic venous insufficiency (CVI) — a disease that is the result of malfunctioning valves and can lead to varicose veins. Venclose is a leader in CVI treatment through its innovative Radio Frequency (RF) ablation technology platform designed for versatility, efficiency and simplicity.

In this role, you will be supporting Sales with a high degree of customer centricity, serving as a main point of contact to process and facilitate orders. You will demonstrate a high degree of multitasking, prioritization with excellent communication and follow through skills. This is a hybrid role; working in the office some days will be required.

Job Description

Customer Service Specialist - Tempe, Arizona

Responsibilities:

  • Answer phones in customer service department. Enter orders into database. Orders may be received via phone, fax, or email.

  • Send quotes, process orders, prepare correspondence, and fulfill customer needs to ensure customer satisfaction.

  • Be the main point of contact between customers and field staff, accounting and shipping.

  • Answer customer inquiries regarding order, shipment, or return status. Track back-order status and inform customers of expected arrival date.

  • Assist Salespeople with quotes and other support.

Education and/or Experience:

  • A minimum of a high school diploma required; bachelor’s degree is preferred.

  • 1+ years call center/customer experience required; medical industry experience preferred

  • Candidates with experience supporting hospitals or large distributors preferred

  • This is a hybrid role, working in the office some days will be required.

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Word and Excel required. Background using ERP systems preferred. Aptitude to learn new software applications

  • Ability to work well both on a team and independently, and effectively multitask and prioritize workload to meet demanding deadlines, including flexible hours

  • Strategic and analytical problem solver with strong business acumen

  • Demonstrated customer centricity skills

  • Demonstrated ability to act with speed, agility and accountability to drive desired outcomes

  • Proven ability to establish credibility, trust and support within all levels of the organization

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills are essential
