BD (Becton, Dickinson and Company) Field Inventory Analyst in Tempe, Arizona
Job Description Summary
General Purpose Summary:
The primary focus of the Field Inventory Analyst position will be consignment and scrap/waste analysis and management, and the technologies associated with this. In this role, the analyst will work with the sales team regarding consignment and sales rep product that is not turning, and/or expiring at accounts that carry consigned product. The analyst will research and analyze data, manage and create reporting, and help facilitate the transfer of product to another facility or to the sales rep. The Field Inventory Analyst will report to the field inventory Manager.
Essential Job Functions:
Analyze consignment accounts and inventory.
Analyze Trunk Stock usage.
Create and maintain reporting for Field Inventory and Sales.
Coordinate, assist, and review the transfer of product.
Work with Territory, District, Regional Managers, and Directors to reduce consignment scrap.
Work cross functionally with other departments to assist in meeting division’s field inventory goals, including Customer Service and Contracts.
Assist the sales team with product movement.
Initiate, lead, and complete projects.
Customer and Key Contacts:
The Field Inventory Analyst will work directly with Territory Managers, District Managers, Regional Managers, and Directors regularly.
The Field Inventory Analyst will work with Sales leadership in the division.
Basic Skills/Competencies Required:
Intermediate knowledge of spreadsheet, word processing, and database software, within a Windows based environment.
Ability to analyze and interpret data.
Excellent communication skills, both written and oral.
Self-starter, motivated, enjoys a challenge.
Must be detail oriented with good organizational skills.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business or related field from an accredited institution preferred.
- 2+ years of business operations or business process experience preferred.
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand, walk, sit and use hands to manipulate, handle or feel objects, tools, controls and office equipment. The employee frequently is required to talk and hear. The employee is occasionally required to reach with hands and arms and stoop, kneel or crouch.
