BD (Becton, Dickinson and Company) Production Associate in Tempe, Arizona

Perform various processes for medical device prototype manufacturing which is performed in a R&D lab or cleanroom environment. This requires following the manufacturing procedures and lab practices.

Accurately complete Device History Records and associated paperwork. Assist with projects and qualifications concerning the process. Communicate effectively with engineering, peers and management. Enter batch information into database. Able to use Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, etc.). Utilize small hand tools, cutting tools (razor blades, scalpel, etc.) and/or precision measurement devices to aid in the prototyping process. Perform inspections using a microscope.

  • Draft/red line/modify manufacturing procedures when needed

  • Accurately complete Device History Records and associated paperwork

  • Assist with projects and qualifications concerning the process when needed

  • Communicate effectively with peers, engineering and management

  • Enter batch information into database

  • Utilize small hand tools, sharps and/or precision measurement devices to aid in the manufacturing process

  • Perform inspection of own work prior to advancing prototype to the next processing step

  • Able to work in a fast paced team environment

  • Use problem solving and troubleshooting skills

  • Pays close attention to detail

High school diploma or equivalent required. 1 year R&D manufacturing experience preferred, but not required.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand, walk, sit and use hands to manipulate, handle or feel objects, tools, controls and office equipment. The employee frequently is required to talk and hear.The employee is occasionally required to reach with hands and arms and stoop, kneel or crouch.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee may be in an open cubicle environment. Candidate must be able to work in a team-oriented, fast-paced environment.
