Job Description Summary

As a Capex project & DC program manager, you are accountable for the end-to-end execution of E-DC technical capital projects driving improvements in efficiencies, throughput, compliance, and sustainability. Including large technical capital projects, e.g. new cooling installation, capacity extension & security projects.
In addition, you are accountable for the development of program and project portfolio(s) and facilitate portfolio decisions aligned with the agreed strategic objectives (KDG’s incl. site technical projects).
You drive clarity on scope, workstreams, phasing, key milestones, financial impact, and deliverables for each. While driving progress by applying proven best-practice processes for progress tracking, issue management within and across workstream teams and ultimately towards the Steerco.
You facilitate and support Risk Management for both program deliverables and associated business continuity risks related to Go-Live. You effectively Steerco agenda management, reporting, and follow-up to all stakeholders (360°). Also, you provide the overall program- and project portfolio transparency to provide context for evaluating all the above.
Your Main Responsibilities:
Project and system engineering tasks:
From identification, prioritization & budget management until implementation of improvements in the wide area of; installation availability, throughput & productivity.
Finance process for Capex (from cost estimation to CB2 creation/socialization to financial tracking/reporting)
Leading different technical projects from concept over requirements setting until implementation following (Incl. close collaboration with procurement/construction.)
Project or system engineering work related to system improvements, process upgrades, component repairs…
Reviewing processes and performance of the E-DC material handling installations/equipment and operational data to determine efficient utilization and optimal availability of the equipment.
Consults & works closely with:
DC: Maintenance, CI, Quality and Operations Manager(s)
Procurement, construction, legal (mainly for Capex projects)
Other functional stakeholders (ISC/finance/TGS)
Executive Steering Committee(s) (for large programs)
Other Key Stakeholders depending on project/program funnel
You have a Master's or a Bachelor's degree.
You have at least 5+ years’ experience with projects
You have a technical background
You have proven project management skills
You have proven experience with Capex projects
You have excellent knowledge (oral and written) of Dutch and English
You have strong communication and consulting skills with the ability to influence, work effectively, and implement solutions
You have experience of working in a large matrix organization (preferred)
You are action-oriented and decisive
