BD (Becton, Dickinson and Company) EDC Warehouse Officer in Temse, Belgium
Job Description Summary
Are you passionate about Inbound Operations? Are you interested to work in an international environment? Our outstanding team is looking for you to join our team as a EDC Inbound Operations Support.
As the EDC inbound operations support you are responsible for day-to-day tasks, your support inbound optimization, internal transfer processes on EDC Campus. You organize daily DC Operations status review meetings and follow them up. In addition, you are optimizing the stock balance across the different locations within the EDC and are responsible for Master data management; correct creation of master data for new products entering the EDC, and supporting master data requests of different stakeholders. Also, you will be supporting various EDC Projects. These are related to inventory accuracy or inbound improvements.
The Key Responsibilities
Execution of daily operational activities related to transfer management inter DC
Run and follow up daily transfer metric
Backorder risk follow up and initiation of necessary actions
Execute configuration checks of products
Initiate necessary downloads to populate different files to enable a timely and correct transfer process
Coordinate weight & dimension checks as requested by stakeholders
Take actions to improve receiving accuracy
Organize cycle count follow up on execution [conventional]
Responsible for SLA's related to the transfer process
Act on Voice of Customer, QA issues and, follow up of errors
Provide training for warehouse staff when necessary
Organize daily DC Operations status review meetings and follow up
Communication with- and getting agreement from key stakeholders on the optimal storage location for the BD products/customers in scope
Maintaining the relevant logistic parameters which serve as input for the inventory balancing tool
Monitoring the stock levels and communicating with stakeholders on the inventory balancing decisions, backorder situations, logistics parameters …
Professional Skills & Key Competencies
You have experience in problem solving & solution focus, particularly under pressure.
You have excellent communication skills (verbal & written).
You are able to have a holistic approach as well as an eye for detail.
You have strong analytical skills.
You are proficient in using Microsoft Office applications and other systems such as LOTS/SAP and are a pro with Excel.
You are proficient in Dutch and English.
