BD Interventional is now a segment within BD comprised of the CR Bard portfolio. The Interventional segment develops, manufactures and markets, life-enhancing medical technologies in the fields of vascular, urology, oncology and surgical specialties. BD Interventional markets its products and services worldwide to hospitals, individual health care professionals, extended-care facilities, alternate-site facilities, and now direct-to-consumer. BD Interventional has expanded beyond its more traditional product categories in recent years by investing in new, high-growth areas that allow it to leverage its core strengths. Examples include targeted temperature management, biosurgery, drug-coated balloons and home care urological products. The role of Lead, TGS Solution Integration and CI, is to serve as the conduit for all of Technology & Global Services (TGS) core solutions in Greater Asia and partnering closely with the region and country business partner team to deliver business solutions alignment to Global. This individual will manage a team of solution analysts who have deep knowledge of the platforms and technolgies, as well as the workplace and shared service solution offerings that are available to TGS’ internal customers. In addition, this individual will be responsible for constantly identifying opportunities and driving the continuous improvement mindset that may come from the application of TGS’ core areas of delivery. This individual will interface with the business partners, TGS’ core areas of delivery and external experts as he or she designs and shapes solutions that create value for our stakeholders. This lead role needs to continue to stay ahead of the technologies in the industry and know what is in the competition to bring the organisation forward.
This leadership position reports directly to the Business Partner of Greater Asia,VP, in TGS and will serve on the leadership team alongside with the sub-region business leadership team.
Primary responsibilities will include:
Develop a deep knowledge of TGS’ core areas of delivery and become a subject matter expert on TGS’ offerings and capabilities
Understand and enhance Greater Asia technology, process and workplace capability roadmaps by architecting appropriate solutions that enable growth and operational excellence
Drive the continuous improvement mindset across the business partner organization and partner with Greater Asia leadership to activate this in a way that captures value for BDX
Lead solution workshops and discovery sessions to recommend the best fit solutions for Greater Asia
Build a capability to leverage TGS’s analytic services to provide data insights and business intelligence for Greater Asia
Work with TGS Business Partners and TGS’ Core Areas of Delivery to ensure that solutions are not siloed and that they are informed by, and are integrated with, BD’s enterprise roadmaps
Ensure that all designed solutions meet the desired outcomes
Lead and develop a team of high-performing solution analysts
Serve as a continuous connector. Energized by a role that is focused on partnership and facilitation. Operates through the lens of what can we do to simplify and improve things
QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE
The ideal candidate will bring a combination of strategic understanding, technology and process improvement experience, solution engineering skills and the ability to communicate together.
In addition, this person should also possess:
8+ years of experience in a technology or process organization
Experience with major ERP solutions (e.g., SAP, JD Edwards, etc.) as well as leading commercial solutions (e.g., Salesforce, Oracle CPQ, etc.) and analytical platform and data tools
Broad understanding of processes, technology and data across multiple functional disciplines (i.e., customer facing, service management, finance, etc.)
Demonstrated end-to-end business process thinking
Ability to facilitate solution discovery, blueprint outcomes and lead multiple improvement efforts keeping a service and customer-oriented mindset
Skilled at working with domain experts in the fields of technology, data and analytics and business processes
Ability to influence and break down silos within an organization as well across organizations
Ability to communicate complex business / technical challenges in a simplified manner
Must be a leader who can influence stakeholders in written and oral communications
Exceptional ability to lead change using positive and collaborative methods
Highly collaborative work style which includes working effectively across all organizational levels
