BD (Becton, Dickinson and Company) Regional Demand Planner in The Strategy, Singapore
Job Description Summary
Responsible for producing an accurate consensus unit forecast that will drive supply and inventory planning for the assigned business area. Works closely with the business at country and regional levels to ensure that all available sales, market, and marketing intelligence are incorporated in the demand projection, including the uncertainty and risks associated with potential business or orders.
As part of the S&OP process, the Regional Demand Planner facilitates the S&OP meeting with the key Business (Marketing /Sales) and Finance stakeholders to validate and reconcile the unit forecast with the financial projections. The Regional Demand Planner has ongoing strong process and operational link with Inventory/Supply planners and customer service/order management function. He or she represents the region in the global S&OP forum, ensure timely collection and review of appropriate information required for this forum.
The Regional Demand Planner leads the implementation of statistical forecasting in the region, works closely with the Country Demand Planners, provides guidance and drives improvements in demand modeling and planning processes which is directly linked to increased service levels and inventory performance.
• Degree in Supply Chain/ Business/ Logistics
• Demand planning with statistical forecasting experience
• SAP & APO knowledge
• Critical thinking, insight & analysis capabilities
• Interpersonal skill to equip & motivate actions by others
• Ability to drive engagement & mobilize others into win-win alignments
• Advanced Excel skill
