Job Description Summary

Provide field service support in terms of maintenance, repairs, troubleshooting, servicing at hospitals for medical equipment.

Job Description

  • Using various strategies and tools to provide effective solutions to customers' concerns.

  • Communicate with clients, engineers, and other technicians to ensure that services are delivered effectively.

  • Promptly following up on service requests and providing customer feedback.

  • Monitor equipment performance and developing preventative maintenance measures.

  • Conduct quality assurance and safety checks on all equipment.

  • Deliver demonstrations to ensure that customers are educated on safe and effective equipment use.

  • Provide recommendations about new features and product improvements.

  • Monitor inventory and reordering materials when needed.

  • Conduct training and refresher workshops to distributors.

  • Writing reports and presenting findings to country business leaders on a regular basis.

Position Requirement:

  • Responsible for technical service and repair issues

  • Provide onsite customer support

  • Repairs, tests, commission and maintains equipment

  • Ensure compliance and proper documentation in accordance with all local established policies, procedures and regulations

  • Responsible for corrective and preventive maintenance

  • Inspects equipment performance to verify their efficiency, investigates and initiates corrective actions to ensure equipment quality and reliability


Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Electrical/Electronics Engineering

Relevant Experience:

  • Minimum 5 years’ relevant work experience, preferably in Medical Device Industry

Job Competency Requirement:

  • Strong in technical service and repair

  • Good interpersonal and communication skills

  • Meticulous and service-oriented

  • Able to travel oversea occasionally to provide technical support to customers and distributors
