Technical Product Manager: HealthSight Infection Advisor. We are looking for a high-energy, proactive, dynamic leader, result-driven, with startup and consultative mentality, to join our team as the HealthSight Clinical Advisor Technical Product Manager (TPM). This role is responsible for driving, developing, and managing the product roadmap to integrate and visualize infection prevention and quality workflows across the Advisors’ product portfolio. The position will be expected to work with cross-functional teams (including Product Marketing, Informatics, Global Customer Service, Technical Architecture, and Software Quality) to translate roadmap requirements to an operational plan and to ensure that the roadmap is executed. This may also include research and data analysis tasks to better understand data content and alignment with requirements. The role is also responsible for working with key team members from across the company to bring a voice and story to the feature enhancement requests, new product features, solution infrastructure, and technical features that the team will develop, as well as prioritize feature development for each product release.

This role is responsible for driving, developing, and managing the product roadmap to integrate and visualize infection prevention and quality workflows across the Advisors’ product portfolio. The position will be expected to work with cross-functional teams (including Product Marketing, Informatics, Global Customer Service, Technical Architecture, and Software Quality) to translate roadmap requirements to an operational plan and to ensure that the roadmap is executed. Key responsibilities will include

  • Develop and manage roadmaps through working and aligning with multiple partners and prioritize short term results for our data platform engineering team

  • Manage scope, balance trade-offs, define goals, set priorities and supervise a backlog of features from story to acceptance throughout the Agile software development lifecycle

  • Coordinate development efforts, timelines, results with other product owners, project managers, program managers, and scrum masters

  • Collaborate with engineering, data science, quality assurance leads and product owners on detailed and complex requirements with a solid technical understanding

  • Project strong technical understanding of data engineering/data analytics fundamentals

  • Demonstrate experience in both Agile Scrum and Kanban work management methodologies

  • Firm understanding of user centered design practice

  • Analyze potential partnerships and opportunities with third-party vendors; evaluate off the shelf solutions and make build vs. buy recommendations

  • Help to evaluate performance, scalability and security implications related to design and architecture decisions

  • Act as a leader and a key contributor in a complex environment. Technical Product Manager is a leadership role that has high level of influence to the organization

  • Provide a positive image to the Team. This role has high visibility and often interacts with partners

  • Demonstrate organizational and time management skills to stay on top of work streams

  • Build collaborative relationships with key partners and team members. Strive to understand others' opinions and build agreement among team members; utilize others' ideas and suggestions to shape solutions

  • Proactively manage partners’ expectations appropriately to ensure transparency; stay on top of partners’ concerns and top issues

  • Apply in-depth skills and broad knowledge of the business to address complex problems and non-standard situations

  • Effectively communicate the vision and business need for change to others and maintains a positive perspective

  • Anticipate and overcome obstacles with a pragmatic approach to achieve complex/multi-dimensional goals/commitments

  • Demonstrate awareness of how own words and actions are perceived by others and adjusts behavior and work style accordingly

Requirements:

To be successful in this role,

  • Solid understanding of software development in at least two of the following areas: cloud-based infrastructure, data management technologies, API, HL7, and/or other back-end services, database configuration, analytics

  • Background in Healthcare IT/EMR systems preferred

  • Comfort level with a multi-stakeholder environment, creating consensus and making timely decisions as needed

  • Experience managing relationships with internal and external customers

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Biomedical or equivalent

  • 5+ years related work experience required as a Product Manager, Product Owner and/or Requirements Analysis

  • High degree of analytical, quantitative, and problem-solving skills

  • Strong communication skills and well organized
