Job Description Summary
A new and exciting opportunity for the key leadership position, the Sales Manager in Benelux has arisen. As a Sales Manager Benelux, you will be reporting to the BDI (BD Interventional) Country Business Leader Benelux. You will be responsible for delivering the continued success of one of BDI Benelux’s largest business unit. In addition, the role involves participating in the strategic and operational running of the entire BDI Benelux business as a member of the BDI leadership team.
This truly is a key role within BDI Benelux! Together with the team you’ll be a key strategic pillar for our broad portfolio in a dynamic and competitive market. In addition, this is an area of significant focus, attention, and an investment by the company for a division where BDI has a significant market position.
You will establish and reinforce a company culture defined by a commitment to customers, innovation, quality, performance, results, collaboration, and accountability.
The leadership of a sales team in the MedTech sector.
Adapt sales strategies to market trends and opportunities to optimize results.
Drive sales force effectiveness, ensuring the adoption of available business technologies, tools, and initiatives.
Build close working relationships with a range of contacts, including key opinion leaders, key customers, associates within the industry, EMEA Marketing team, U.S. division and European work colleagues.
Develop strong technical knowledge to enable high-level discussions with internal and external customers.
Forecast and report results, trends, key activities.
Ensure appropriate training and development for employees.
Represent your BU on the Benelux Leadership Team, contributing with strategic & operational input to the running of the BDI Benelux business.
Oversee government affairs, technology lobbying campaigns within the scope of your portfolio, and using BDI and BDx resources.
Develop market access strategies and securing reimbursement files to the BeNeLux authorities with the help of our Product Manager & BU resources.
Maintain and develop accurate market intelligence data in collaboration with marketing.
Leverage BDx resources to maximize the delivered results and ensure positive and productive relationships are built with all internal stakeholders.
Optimize BDI’s interests to clinician and patient groups.
Operate within the industry’s ethical standards and the stringent compliance regulations of the corporation.
You are well educated with outstanding interpersonal skills.
You have a highly successful track record in leading a business unit and/or a sales & marketing organization for over 3 years.
You are able to demonstrate considerable success as a Sales Manager.
You are a resourceful strategic thinker, with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
You are people-oriented and a team focused leader.
You have a presence, charisma, and credibility to positively engage people of all levels to optimize the results of the organization.
