Job Description
For the BD Pyxis™ Inventory Connect R&D team we are seeking a Requirements Engineer (f/m/d) who joins a team of requirements engineers, developers and testers in providing software solutions for our customers.
About the role:
As a requirement engineer you will specify new software features and work closely with internal and external stakeholders on turning the product vision into reality.
Main responsiblities will include:
Work with internal and external customers to analyze needs and align product roadmap to strategic goals
Possess a fundamental understanding of end-to-end customer experience and build up a detailed product knowledge
Analyse user requirements and feature wishes with both internal and external stakeholders (e.g. product managers and/or customers)
Provide specifications for user-stories including the definition of use-cases and functional and non-functional requirements
Document and maintain user requirements, e.g. in Software Requirement Specifications or Product Requirement Documents
Support a team of developers and testers during implementation and testing of defined features
Document software features and capabilities in product documentation like user-manuals and release-notes
Support the translation process both for user interfaces and documents in collaboration with documentation engineers and/or translators
Work on improvements of software development processes within the quality management system
Preferred requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent work experience
Experience as requirements engineer (or product owner), ideally in an agile framework
Fluent in English, German and other languages are a plus
Analytical skills, attention to details
Teamplayer / good communication skills
Interpersonal skills to develop relationships with team members and stakeholders
The minimum annual gross salary for this position is € 48.730 (full-time basis, in: 'ST1/Regelstufe'). Based on individual skills and experience, we offer appropriate additional payment.
