In collaboration with the IDS Central Europe and European marketing teams, the Product Manager will be responsible for developing, implementing and executing the IDS strategy in Poland.
In Integrated Diagnostic Solutions (IDS), we drive value across the diagnostic continuum from specimen management to diagnostic results and in doing so deliver growth to the company.
She or he is supposed to partner with the sales organization to understand customer needs and position BD´s portfolio and capabilities in a credible and differentiated way. The Product Manager implements and maintains the best standards in product management, while handles extensive interaction with internal and external partners.
Develops and executes a fact-based country marketing plan for relevant product portfolio including market shaping and development and marketing communications strategies and activities that is aligned with European and regional priorities.
Demonstrates marketing expertise through a specific and advanced set of skills and knowledge, e.g. branding, product development, price strategy, financial forecasting.
Drives product launches and contributes to market access planning and strategy.
Gives input into leadership teams on a large worldwide product/product group line: European Marketing and Business team, Country Marketing teams, Global Product and Marketing teams, or Product Development Core Teams.
Drives knowledge and expertise of the product portfolio to the sales team
Builds translate and maintains sales tools and marketing communication materials including adherence with the compliance process
Handles product-related customer requests and complaints
Gathers and analyses information on customer insights and competitive product offerings and technologies, determine competitive strategies and tactics and communicate the information to field sales
Regularly interact with customers through site visits, professional societies, KOL, and tradeshow activities
We expect from you:
An academic degree in Biology or similar education with a strong background in Marketing preferred
Additional education in Marketing is an advantage
Minimum of 3 years of product management/marketing/business experience in the life science or diagnostic industry
Strong strategic, analytical and conceptional skills
Experience in driving and leading sophisticated projects
Proficient in English and Polish
Excellent communication and social skills
Dynamic, innovative, engaging personality with a “can do” mentality
Demonstrated ability to work well with teams and matrix organizations
Willingness to travel up to 30% within the region
