Our team of Field/ Technical Servicing is expanding and currently we are looking for an experienced Biomedical Engineer colleague to strengthen our team and who would be responsible for providing technical support to our customers in the Central Poland region (Warsaw and Łódź area)
Job Description
As a Technical Service Engineer You will be actively involved in engaging our clients with keeping an excellent service level and a proactive approach preventing and resolving technical problems. Working as the part of our Poland and CEE Service Team you will:
Install/ uninstall and service medical instrumentation and provide remote and on-site support to BD customers in line with SLAs
Plan and schedule preventive maintenance and corrective technical support
Relocate and certify (IQ and OQ) instruments as per customer needs
Maintain spare parts inventory within budget (car stock)
Develop relations with distributors, customers and key opinion leaders to entrench BD as preferred service provider / supplier
Service contract promotion (providing information to customers)
Comply with all quality, and safety regulations as required by BD and the customer Service levels agreements
Complete service reports and documents as required
As our successful candidate you ideally will bring your minimum 2 years technical engineering experience in servicing, manufacturing or distributor or application support environment within the medical devices industry and also have:
Degree or diploma in Engineering, preferably specialized in Biomedical or Electronic or Mechanical
English language knowledge on a working proficiency level
Proven experience with medical devices and laboratory equipment.
PC-based equipment and application software knowledge is an advantage
Flexibility and adaptability for changing work environment
Effective communication and customer service skills
Excellent interpersonal skills, organization/prioritization and presentation
Willingness to travel through Poland and occasionally in CEE region
Driving license
