The Project Coordinator for the RA Medical Writing Group is responsible for collaborating with entire RA Medical Writing Team, PMS Group, Clinical/Medical Affairs, RA Specialist, Marketing, and others as needed to ensure projects are successfully scheduled and tracked. This individual will be responsible for coordinating, organizing and tracking/management of required tasks for all key Stakeholders that support the efforts of the Medical Writing Team for a variety of projects.

Essential Duties and Position Responsibilities

CoordinatesMedical Writingmeetings/kickoffsbyscheduling such meetings with all required stakeholders and other subsequent meetings for all MedicalWriting projectsbased on projected deadlines

Collaborates with bothPrincipalAnalyst and Principal Medical Writer in the planning, coordinating project schedules and deliverables to meet aggressive deadlines

Coordinates the collection and updating of all Stakeholder CVs

Uploads and tracks all documents in electronic document control system

Communicates with all Stakeholders about projects status and follows up on team action items

Ensure Project Dashboards are up to date

Coordinates with Medical Affairs Coordinator in ensuring all Medical Affairs actions items are communicated to the Medical Affairs Team withdue dates

Assigns and provides follow up on action item tasks for all Stakeholders supporting Medical Writing deliverables

Provides Final Reports to Publishing

Sets up Team Project in Teams Workspace

Ensures all required documents are uploaded to shared project space for all projects

Participates and contributes to improving processes and procedures to increase efficiency and quality of all deliverables

Qualifications, Knowledge, and Skills Required: - need to add software/tools skill

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business or related field of study

  • Minimumof1yearprofessional experienceinproject coordination

  • Excellent verbal and written communication for understanding project requirements and explainingthese needsto key Stakeholders

  • Attention to detail to ensure all specification are met

  • Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team

  • Problem-solving abilities to correct any challenges or inefficiencies for the best results

  • Decisiveness and good judgement to address pressing project matter when time is limited

  • Organization and time management to manage multipletasks, sometime for multiple projects at once

  • Goal setting to set realistic deadlines and strategize daily, weekly, monthly and quarterly progress

  • Ability to work on tight deadlines

  • Competencywith TEAMS, Microsoft word, Excel required

  • Experience with Microsoft Project or Distiller a plus

Scope and Impact of Position:

This key positionwillprovidecoordinationand accountability to all key Stakeholders involved in the creation medical writing deliverables needed to supportregulatory submissionforall BDI Surgical Business Unitproducts. This includes a growingline of mesh prosthetics, biologicimplants, fixationsystems, andsurgical instrumentsto complement innovative techniques forvarious surgical procedures.In addition to this extensive suite of products, theBiosurgeryfranchise is deliveringa growingline of enhanced sealants and hemostatic products to complement surgical techniques across,thoracic,cardiovascular,and other surgical specialties.
