This position is responsible for supporting Advanced Repair & Reconstruction strategy development and execution including innovation, commercial effectiveness and access, strategic partnerships, and platform efficiency. This position will work between our Global Marketing and Innovation teams to drive a cohesive platform strategy. Additionally, this position will grow and maintain positive relationships with robotic and other strategic surgery partners to support various aspects of the BDI Surgery business including but not limited to the following: Clinical Education, Innovation, and Commercial Excellence.

Essential Duties and Position Responsibilities:

Innovation:

Market Definition – identify market opportunities for new products and programs

Trends and Implications – understand impact of market trends and barriers to ensure AR&R is customer-centric

Portfolio Map – define capabilities and AR&R offering against barriers impeding growth

Commercial Effectiveness and Access:

Evidence – understand the clinical and economic evidence required to unlock and transform major markets

Pricing – develop pricing methodology to improve value of AR&R offering

KOL Mapping – ensure KOL strategy aligns with programs and fill gaps as needed

Strategic Partnership development and cultivation:

Ensuring coordination and execution of logistics to support training and educational programs

Development of novel, value added training and education programs

Developing service level agreements to ensure mutual transparency on deliverables and expectations related to the training and educational programs

Conceptualizing innovation ideas which improve the patient outcome and clinician experience

Ensuring constructive communication regarding customer feedback

Establishment of user groups and forums for standard methodology sharing and expert user development

Elevation of x-US opportunities to the global platform

Function as single point of contact for peer contact at Intuitive to ensure positive relationship management

Eliminate barriers to success in delivering enhanced patient and clinician value

Trends and Implications – understand impact of market trends and barriers to ensure AR&R is customer-centric

Portfolio Map – define capabilities and AR&R offering against barriers impeding growth

Market Assessments:

Prioritized Customer Needs – provide framework for assessing and prioritizing unmet and underserved customer needs and benefits

Channel Strategy – provides insight into how the channel is aligned and performing to drive customer interactions

Qualifications, Knowledge and Skills Required:

Bachelor’s degree required

Minimum of 8 years commercial selling and/or marketing experience

Proven understanding of the overall surgery space

Strong business acumen and quantitative skills

Excellent written, oral communications, and presentation skills

Proven leadership capabilities

Additional Desirable Qualifications:

Masters / MBA a plus
