We are looking to recruit for and Account Manager covering our South East Region, including London, East Anglia, Bedfordshire, Hertfordshire, West Sussex and Kent.

About the role

The Account Manager’s role will be to maintain and maximise the revenue and profit from products within the infusion portfolio by actively managing existing contracts, expanding the adoption and use of infusion equipment and focusing on the safe and efficient use of BD medication management solutions within hospitals.

You will work with Technical and Clinical colleagues to make sure that the hospital has the best customer experience, developing deep and trusted relationships within the hospital environment. You will work with Business Development Specialists and the wider infusion team in measuring the impact of the MMS business in the acute NHS arena. There will be the opportunity to work with newly acquired and existing NHS acute accounts to maximise the revenue and profit in those accounts.

About you

To be successful in this role you will be based on territory and will be experienced in high value capital equipment sales with evidence of a building successful long-term partnerships within the NHS, be that medical engineering functions, pharmacy teams or nursing & clinical education teams. You MUST be comfortable with a longer sales cycle process.

You need to be computer literate with a good working knowledge of Microsoft Office and CRMs. You will be results-orientated, flexible and highly collaborative as well as able to manage a large territory, and conflicting priorities, whilst work un-supervised and in a strategic and organised way.
