About the role

Reporting to the Vice President/General Manager for UK&Ireland, the Director of Strategic Account Engagement (SAE) is responsible for developing and implementing key elements of the BD UKI Strategic Account Management Go-To-Market (GTM) strategy including the emerging and influential Integrated Care Systems (ICS).

Engaging with Board-level customers in Integrated Care Systems, you elevate the relationship from transactional to strategic partner including Integrated Care Boards, Integrated Care Partnerships and Acute Hospital Trust Boards.

Main responsibilities will include:

Strategic Account Management (SAM)

  • Own the development of strategic partnerships in nominated nationally influential strategic accounts/ICSs.

  • Develop and manage a team of BD SAMs aligned with the EMEA Commercial Excellence approach through effective implementation of the operating model between SAM and BUs.

  • Identify target strategic accounts through robust segmentation and in association with Director CES.

  • Ensure Strategic Account Plans are loaded and supervised in SFDC.

  • Collaborate with the Medical Affairs Director to identify customer difficulties across patient pathways in order to position BD solutions that bring optimum value to the customer and to BD.

  • Coordinate the generation of case study evidence to support the adoption of BD solutions through collaborations with the Medical Affairs Director and Director CES.

  • Build a network of senior NHS leaders.

Customer Success

  • In collaboration with the Regional Commercial Excellence team, you define models of Customer Success activities and processes for SAM and Inside Sales customer segments.

About you

We are seeking candidates with a good knowledge of the UK and Ireland Healthcare market. You should demonstrate an Executive presence and C-Suite communications skills and experience. As a delivery results Director, you can navigate the matrix for business units and functions.

Strong in your strategic agility, you have defined and implemented value-based partnerships. You have showcased your ability to collaborate, engage and influence at all levels in the organization.

The role is based in our office in Winnersh , the United Kingdom. We offer a hybrid model; you can work from home a few days a week.
